Preheat the oven to 375°
Open the biscuits and place on a cutting board or clean counter. Roll each biscuit into a short rope. Slice into 3 even pieces. Repeat with each biscuit.
In the meantime, bring a pot of water to a boil and add baking soda. Drop each biscuit piece into boiling water. Cook for 10-15 seconds and then remove with a slotted spoon and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Brush each piece with egg and top with salt. Bake in the oven at 375° for 25 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Serve with an optional dipping sauce like cheese dip or mustard and enjoy!
