- Add all ingredients to a pressure cooker, close, seal, and cook pressure cook for 15 minutes. Allow to natural release.

Notes
This can also be made in a slow cooker by adding all ingredients and cooking on high for 4-6 hours or low for 7-8 hours.
It can also be cooked on the stove top by first sautéing the onions and bell pepper in oil, then adding the remaining ingredients and simmering on low until lentils are cooked through, about 30-40 minutes.
