Nacho Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder optional
  • A pinch Cayenne Pepper optional

Method
 

  1. In a small sauce pot, melt butter on medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add flour and mix until combined. Sauté, stirring frequently, until flour is golden, about 2 minutes.
  2. Slowly stir in milk until completely combined and there are no lumps. Add optional seasonings and stir.
  3. Turn off the heat and add the cheese, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
