Wildgrain sent me a box of their artisanal breads and pastas in exchange for a review and let me just say, I was suuuuper excited to give it a try. Made with simple, high-quality, vegetarian, and non-GMO ingredients, this monthly box offers a variety of hand-cut fresh pasta, slow-fermented sourdough, and artisanal pastries directly to your doorstep.

My first Wildgrain box waiting on my doorstep

So here’s the thing, I’ve been on the hunt for better-for-us foods lately and I’ve had a hard time finding really good pastries, breads, and pastas that weren’t full of artificial ingredients. When I read about Wildgrain’s commitment to clean ingredients, that all their products are freezer to table in 25 minutes (I’m a very busy mama), and that they offer free delivery, I was ready to dive-in!

When I first opened my box, I can honestly say that I was delighted with what was inside. For my first box, I selected the bread and pastry option (no pasta this time), since we LOVE our bread and pastries. In addition to the several types of sourdough, they included Slow-Fermented Olive Oil Ciabatta, Parmesan Herb Biscuits, Apple Pie Bites, Sourdough Harvest Bread, Sourdough Sesame Bread, Artisan English Muffins, and FREE Croissants!

What came in the box! Sourdough, Slow-Fermented Olive Oil Ciabatta, Parmesan Herb Biscuits, Apple Pie Bites, Sourdough Harvest Bread, Sourdough Sesame Bread, Artisan English Muffins, and FREE Croissants!

So far, we’ve tried everything but the harvest bread and the apple pie bites and each one has been delicious. Wildgrain also sent me an October box with fresh pasta and I decided to make an authentic Fettuccine Alfredo using their fresh fettuccine and paired that with the Cranberry Pecan Bread. Checkout the YouTube video here with that recipe:

The October box came with:

  • Plain Sourdough Loaf
  • Cranberry-Pecan Sourdough Loaf
  • Rosemary Garlic Sourdough Loaf
  • Fettuccine Pasta
  • Tonnarelli Pasta
  • Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls
  • Free Croissants (This is the special they’re currently doing for all new customers)
